Not sure if anyone still lurks here or even knows about the discovery of what is called a "gameplay pack" which will add a new world to the game allowing the sims to go on vacations. The title of said pack is The Sims 4 Outdoor Retreat.

It is a change for sure. I miss CAS mainly only because I liked to match things in my homes. Aside from that it is a good game. I like a lot of the building techniques and it seems to go a lot faster than 3 and 2. We shall see what they bring as the game progresses. Don't you mean Create-a-Pattern?

After logging 53 hours so far with this game.
I must say that I am enjoying it a lot even without the missing features.
Though I am still mad at the exclusion of traditional careers that were featured in all the other Sims base games.
No reason for them to be removed.

I Google'd and this is basically my case. I recently installed the sims deluxe on my laptop (this runs on Vista) I also install the expansion pack makin magic Later on i purchased other expansion packs since the sims expansion packs need to be installed in a particular order i uninstalled both makin magic and the sims deluxe When i attempted to install the programs again in the correct order as soon as i attempted to install sims deluxe i receive the error message "error getting sku number from register aborting installation" I have already gone to regedit and deleted all sims files and i have run the sims uninstaller also search my computer for any sims/maxis files and any files related to the sims deluxe and it's expansion packs and removed them also however i still get the same message... can any one give any further suggestions please The image was also from what I Google'd and I didn't the folder from my program files. I didn't the registry files a long time prior. I still get this error. Any ideas as to what is wrong here?

For some reason, whenever I try to install my game. The autorun doesn't appear. So I tried to start the installer manually and when it does that it does nothing. Some assistance is required. Help?

I was installing The Sims Complete Collection and then I had second thoughts so I hit cancel. It took too long to end the program so me being an idiot popped the disc out and used Ctrl+Alt+Delete to end the program. Now I have the files on my computer, I cannot uninstall, nor can I reinstall. I really set myself up due to my stupidity. Is there any way of removing these files and uninstalling the game completely?

Whenever I login to my account to play online with this game (PC), it asks me to enter a confirmation code and whenever I click on okay it says I could only enter it once. Now I cannot get online. WTH?

They could always come back and Youtube has shown me that there are still players out there somewhere.

I love this game and I wish a remastered version could come out to make it up to par with later games of the franchise. I love the ultimate IAMCHEAT code which allows me to make any kind of city I wish.
Sometimes I like to make artifical islands and pretend there is a backstory to them. For example, I put an Arco on one and say that global warming raise the oceans to which the Earth became a water world and everyone is in search of dry land.
So humanity created these artifical islands, probably funded and powered by Dubai seeing as they have already started building their own islands. Then I fast forward couple years and make new backstories, the newspaper feature is awesome as well.
What can I say, I love this game.

I believe it has been confirmed that SimCity Societies is not the fifth installment to the SimCity series, but a spin-off from it. There is still a chance for there to be a SimCity 5, however I highly doubt there is going to be with the main focus being on Sims now. Once the original Sims game took hold, SimCity had pretty much lost the competition.
