So this another one of my "Future" threads Basically put what you would like to see in a new Simcity game. My Requests: - New 3D Graphics Engine, but keeps the look of Simcity 4
- New Political System, where the mayor must run for Election/Govt.
- Scenarios built in the game, to go along with Sandbox mode
- Online Website to upload/download cities and regions
- Sims 3 Integration, allowing you to import your Sims, a lot like in Simcity 4
- Simcity Store - Integrated system allowing you to Purchase and Download Buildings and Content
- Achievements, shows what you have done (See: Spore, Xbox Live, Playstation 3)
- iPhone/iTouch Application allows you to manage your cities ont he go, and sync back up and continue on a PC or Mac
- Cable Cars
- Pilot the vehicles, Drive ambulances, trains, planes etc. viewing from a 3D cockpit, allows picking up of passengers, fighting fires, etc.
- Import Cities and Regions from Simcity 4
Thats all i got at the moment, feel free to add on

I have really nothing to add, because I have really yet to play SC4. But your ideas are great. The more interaction between the games would be wonderful. But also give you the option to play them separately. Great post SkyPie!!
*chucks karma*

There's going to be a SimCity 5? I've never played any SimCity games... other than maybe an extremely old version on the computers at my mom's school.

I would assume there would be a Simcity 5, i mean why wouldn't there be? Granted it might be a while away, but still.... these are just my ideas

I think all those ideas are excellent, not sure about the simcity store, I have not been a fan of the sims 2 store, but it might work. Everything else would be awesome to see! I really hope we get to see a real SimCity5 at some point, and it better be good to make up for SimCity Societies It is going to take something really good to win back SimCity fans after that one.

- They should make the interface more simple
- They should have a button that sorts things you MUST have for a successful city
- A wider range of difficulty levels from really easy to extremely difficult
Because the game is kind of difficult when you first start playing it. Like when I decided to borrow the game and try playing it.

I think they should include:
pre-made regions - with good cities and mountains etc. better graphics - like Sims 3 Weather - not that extreme, you can choose the level of extremity More buildings and industries - more detail and better choice of buildings. More events - maybe incorporate oil issues, stock exchanges play bigger roles, etc. Works with Sims 3 Hire different advisors - unlike in Sim City 4, where they came with the game. Play in different modes - Industrialist, Globaliser Choice of regions - 1 big region that can split into seperate cities (like in SCS) or different cities that link up with development. More choice of scenarios and event decisions.

I believe Simcity 5 should be a mixture between Simcity 4 and SimCity Societies For example
Zone Improvement-Allow the player to set what type of social zone the want (I.E. Government, Capitalist etc)
Improved Polygon count-What the point of having powerful GPU's when you don't even tap its potential(i have a nVidia GTX 260 OC)
Fixed Frame Rate Option/Improved frame rate- okay i was having a problem with this in Simcity Societies as the game could not decided if it wanted to run at 60 FPS or at 15 FPS
Improved Physics engine-Okay when a car crashes into the building i want to see the building get wrecked realistically(Who doesn't?)and if the car hits the building hard enough it will collapse(They might also want to add an option that enables and disables this so players don't get frustrated)
I think that sums it up

There are a few things I get a little annoyed at, and would love to have better versions of: - Less annoying Supervisors. They should complain about everything that happens! We're not dumb. Dx
- Better way of travel. (Ie. They use the Highways, over small streets, for example)
- Like said before, I'm saying it again, Weather! ;D
- Commute Time Fix. Once your town gets bigger, it seems that Commute Time: Long becomes the only words they know, even when they work next door.
- Sky Scraper industry. I *think* there is a such thing in real life... I hope. xD
- Better Water Pollution problems. Cornfields are all around me. And the last time I checked, the water looks, and tastes fine from my well.
Those things would make my game so much better. I'm fine with the graphics.

With more polygons and dynamic objects on screen, the more the framerate falls apart. For instance in the Sims 3 try turning on high detailed neighbors for 10 lots. See how much the game will slow down. High Polygon count was why Simcity Societies was so incredibly system hogging. I would prefer a much wider view perspective (Like Simcity 4) then the mess they called the viewpoint in societies. Also to add to the list....

The ability to play without the game just..... dying would be wonderful A purpose to the animals, or scrap the animals! I agree with the better water pollution thing. I also put out there a better air pollution fixer-upper-er. The things you can do in SC4 just. don't. work. or maybe the sims inhabiting my towns are just stupid. A better health/schooling system. You really shouldn't need to have 10 school/health buildings just to get one little area into "medium green" Lots of other improvements in that style.
